We take the security and privacy of data very seriously. The following will help:
1) The application has 100% SaaS Architecture and is hosted on AWS. Compliance Certificates are available.
2) All external accesses to our platform are protected by the TLS 1.2 – HTTPS protocol. Strong encryption algorithms (AES 128 GCM) used. Validated by SSLLabs (rated A). The risk of data being intercepted by a third party during transmission is minimal. This can be validated.
3) Every instance used by a customer runs a separate set of programs isolated from others. Even the executables are not shared.
4) We are listed on Application Exchanges of Salesforce, Microsoft and Zoho - all of which have the highest level of security standards that we comply to.

We have massive unstructured data. How can you ingest it?
ECM has an add on module which identifies the incoming document, extract data from it and ingests into it. This can be set to work in an automated manner as explained here. Alternatively, a manual data validation screen can be configured as a pre-process to ECM. The data extraction module works by identifying the data patterns in incoming documents or images.
We would like data to flow from ECM to our CRM. How is that possible?
Data from ECM can be sent to popular CRMs. Currently we have extensions for Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Zoho CRM. However, if you have a different CRM, it is not difficult for us to create a connection to it as long as that system supports API.
The individual user will need to have an account with your CRM. The user will have to login to the account through Contactous. Once successful, the user can select a contact record and push it as a contact into the CRM, which will receive the details of the contact, notes, tags and even the image of business card.

Can we integrate our application to ECM?
Yes, we provide an API for direct integration with your account in Contactous. The authentication is based on OAuth 2.0 protocol. This opens up possibilities like creation of web forms or integration of other applications to ECM. Please contact us directly for more information on the API.

Import: There is a powerful import function built within Contactous' web application and is accessible to administrators. One can import the data from a CSV or text file. The system will analyse each column of data and intelligently attempt to assign it to the right field within the system. You can override this assignment and send the data to the fields of your choice. If you have customized your environment by adding more fields, they too will appear in the import field list.
Export: While the standard user can export records for their own contacts, only the Administrator can export out the entire data of entire system. The contact data can be selected from any static or dynamic list, query results or manually clustered records. One has the option of exporting all the fields or only specific fields with your preferred delimiter. The output is a CSV format which can be used with other applications.

Available both on iOS and Android, the mobile app provides access to organization's contacts from user's mobile phone. A regular user can access entire organization's records while a restricted user can view and edit only those contacts belonging to that user's account.
