user guide for mjn field users

Contactous mobile app enables uploading of MJN's Enfamama cards into a central database. This user guide is for MJN's field users who receive the card. The main function of the app for MJN field users is to take a good photograph of the card.  

The instructions to download the mobile application are sent to all users. The app can also be downloaded by visiting "Resources" section under the Main Menu of this page.

Following are the main screens of the mobile application:

Customer Code for Indonesia is mjnid, while for Philippines it is mjnph.

The login and password are provided to you in a separate email.

Main Menu

The main feature that is needed by MJN field users is the camera function at the bottom of the screen. It is used to take the photo of Enfamama card. 

Settings is primarily used if a user is scanning the cards that belong to a different user.

Main Menu > Scan 

This is the only important step on your side - To take a good photograph of the Enfamama Card. All you need to do is to make sure that 1) card is placed the way you will read it, 2) the phone is always in landscape mode as shown and 3) the card is within the grid during scanning. 

 Option to upload a photo from phone: If the photo of the a card is already in the phone, it can be selected and uploaded.

Main Menu > Preferences

There are 2 relevant options here: 

Default Name: Select a user name. All subsequent cards which are scanned will be under the ownership of the selected name. 

Default Tag: Select a tag. All subsequent scanned cards will be tagged using this selection. This can be used if the cards are collected from a particular event that need to be identified in the system.
